Visible Image Sunday Play~Me Time Tag

Hello!

Happy Sunday!

I wanted to share a colorful tag I made for my weekly project to share with Visible Image.

I used my favorite stamps, colors and textures, hope you like it!

I used Grunge Harlequin, Plasma, the wonderful "MeTime" sentiment stamp and the sparkle burst from the "Sparkle at Christmas" set. The Sparkle set is a true must get and is so versatile beyond the Holiday Season.

I used an assortment of the bright DecoArt acrylics, Distress Ink and Distress Paint on top of lots of texture to build up the base. All of the stamping is heat embossed using Ranger Superfine, Black.

Have a fabulous week and hope you can sneak some me time :)

Stencil Sunday~Hello Dear Friend~Tag

Happy Sunday!

Today I have a project shared over on the STAMPlorations blog for Stencil Sunday!

I hope you have time to hop over and see all the amazing projects shared and maybe make some time to play with us too!

Today I made a bright, happy tag to share, using the fabulous ARTplorations stencils I was given as part of the DT.

The background of the tag was made using my homemade gelatin plate along with DecoArt acrylic paints and the Shower of Flutters ARTplorations stencil. This was the second print I pulled off the plate. I outlined the butterflies with my white Signo gel pen to help them POP.

I added some bubbles using the Bubbles stencil and a couple of blooms using Bloom Silhouette. I stenciled some more for some layers and texture using Botanical Lush and Bloom Factory

The sentiment is from a STAMPlorations set called Vignette:Trendy Feathers.

Don't forget to share your stencil play with us at the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Monthly Challenge, the theme is always Anything Goes except a card!

Have a great day and have fun!

All the background colors are mix up and finger applied using various DecoArt acrylics as well as Americana Multi-Surface. I added some DecoArt White Tinting base with some better color.

I used the ARTplorations stencils Some Birds and Old Rose Prints, my favorites!
I used DecoArt's modeling paste for dimension.

Added a shiny 'gem' up top and a touch of micro beads, they are so fun, but, boy I am messy and they get all over!! Still adds to the mixed media fun for sure!!

Come play and see all the wonderful October projects HERE

Lots of prizes, the winner gets a $15 STAMPlorations gift certificate or 2 stencils. The top picks get a stencil, so fun! Come play, can't wait to see your projects!

Happy October~Visible Image~Zombie Dawn

Yay!

I am so happy it is October! I love the cooler weather, here for me it should be soon anyways! And of course, I love Halloween!

Today for my Visible Image DT play I made a tag using the wicked Zombie Dawn set!

She is a bit more ghosty I think...

On top of the acrylic paint and ink background, everything is heat embossed. I really love how embossing makes everything shiny and adds more POP!  The pumpkins are made with texture paste using a Dreamweaver metal stencil with orange embossing powder on top.

Zombie Dawn, the hands and sentiment are all fine stamps by Visible Image! I hope you have fun getting ready for Halloween later this month and I would really love to see what you make!
